Abstract:Chickpea is a kind of legume plant with wide distribution and complete nutrition，which has attracted researchers'attention for its high nutrition and health value.In this paper，the main nutritional components of chickpea were described based on its anti-oxidation，anti-cancer，hypoglycemia，hypoglycemia and weight loss functions.The research status was summarized and the future development was prospected，so as to provided theoretical basis for the further processing and scientific utilization of chickpea.
