Abstract:The composition of chestnut processing by-products was introduced.The studies about chestnut processing by-products in terms of agricultural cultivation，industrial application，extraction of active substances，and application in cosmetics and food industries were reviewed.Furthermore，the future development trends of these by-products were prospected，with a view to improving the comprehensive utilization potential of chestnut processing by-products and promoting the high-quality development of China＇s chestnut industry.
