Abstract:The composition of chestnut processing by-products was introduced.The studies about chestnut processing by-products in terms of agricultural cultivation,industrial application,extraction of active substances,and application in cosmetics and food industries were reviewed.Furthermore,the future development trends of these by-products were prospected,with a view to improving the comprehensive utilization potential of chestnut processing by-products and promoting the high-quality development of China's chestnut industry.
