Abstract:To explore the antioxidant capacity of Cistanche deserticola water extract in vitro and its effect on intestinal flora disorder in mice.The antioxidant capacity of Cistanche deserticola aqueous extract in vitro was determined by the reduction of force，DPPH·，ABTS+·，O2-scavenging rate.The intestinal flora，organ index，and morphology of colonic villi were used to investigate the effect of Cistanche deserticola extract on intestinal flora.he antioxidant capacity of Cistanche deserticolata water extract was positively correlated with its concentration.The IC50values of DPPH·，ABTS+·，and O2-were 0.225，1.819，12.53 mg/mL.Cistanche water extract could alleviate the decrease in body weight of mice caused by antibiotics and inhibit the growth of thymus，and significantly increase the content of Bifidobacterium，lactic acid bacteria and B/E in feces of mice with intestinal flora disturbance.It had a certain inhibitory effect and improves the phenomenon of intestinal villi shortening and crypt depth increase induced by mice with intestinal flora disturbance.Cistanche deserticolata water extract had a good antioxidant effect in vitro，it could regulate the intestinal flora disturbance.
