Abstract:Many trace elements are indispensible to the normal physiological function of the human body. Nev－ ertheless， lacking of those elements can cause serious diseases. If the beneficial microorganism is served as bio－ logical carrier， the trace elements will be enriched and the state of it will be transformed from inorganic state in－ to organic state which will enable the body to absorb it. Therefore， there has been a lot of research and develop－ ment in testing of functional health food and medicine. Based on the author's research team's works and access to a large number of relevant information， in this article， a brief overview was given about the current research and development situation and the vision for the future development in China， with a view to the exchange of peer scholar.
